A DIFFERENT KIND OF ELVIS TRIBUTE
Hey, do you remember those fun Elvis musicals where he would be singing on a Hawaiian beach with an unplugged electric guitar while being surrounded by a group of go-go dancing bikini-clad girls? Well, so do we and we're bringing our Elvis Movie Tribute all around, leaving our audiences humming the tunes from Blue Hawaii, Viva Las Vegas, Girls, Girls, Girls, Jailhouse Rock and all of the other classic films from Elvis' "movie years".
We are not your typical Elvis tribute. We are a rockin' band with an upbeat, interactive show where not only do we put on a performance, but so do you as our we invite you on stage to sing back-up as well as join us for some go-go dancing.
To get you in the right mood, our stage is decorated with Hawaiian leis, glittery dice, and teddy bears to recreate that Viva Las Vegas/Blue Hawaii, feel. Our nostalgic set list includes great movie tunes like “Teddy Bear”, “Return To Sender” and “Can’t Help Falling In Love”, as well as classic Elvis hits like “Hound Dog”, “It’s Now Or Never” and “The Wonder Of You”. An additional treat is assorted tunes from the era from artists like Little Richard, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, and Dion.
Each one of us in the band has decades of experience behind us, but we are still out there having a great time performing in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as playing live on the radio. In fact, this might be the most fun we've ever had. We are:

Dan “Saxman” Keuhl/Tenor Sax, Guitar – The Boots Randolph, Clarence Clemons, Sonny Rollins influenced Dan picked up the sax over 21 years ago and never put it down, playing with bands such as Forward Thrust (you dirty boy), Golden Eagle Band, and Nasty Habits (are we detecting a pattern here?). His unique style and technique has helped define the Roustabouts’ rocking party sound.

Carlos Colon/Lead Vocals – The former front man for punk/glam rock bands Prisoner and Pigs On Parade has returned to the mic for the first time in over 22 years. His past includes performances in legendary New York club scene venues like CBGB’s, Kenny’s Castaways, and Zappa’s, as well as TV and radio appearances on The Joe Franklin Show and The Joey Adams Show. And yes there are pictures around of him in full glam makeup--apparently, they are very well hidden.

Warren Otto/Keyboards, Vocals - "The Keyboard Veteran" played at the famed Brooklyn Paramount Theater Rock and Roll show hosted by Alan Freed, as well as many European countries such as France, Germany, Holland, and Belgium. After playing in Florida and Texas, he returned to play for the Jersey Shore band, Premonition.

Gerry Conte/Lead Guitar, Vocals - Gerry formed The Journey’s End while in parochial high school in the ‘60’s, and then joined Jammit which won the Staten Island Battle of the Bands. He also played for Small Talk and Monmouth County’s Looney Tunes, playing a variety of rock, country and Elvis songs. After playing guitar for Country Sunrise and Rawhide, he formed the rockabilly band, The Gerry Conte Trio which brought him to the attention of The Roustabouts.

Frank Agliata/Bass, Vocals - Has danced with the "big lady" (his standup bass) for over thirty years, jamming with some of the Boss' bandmates in the early '70's. Performed on television and in Atlantic City with the JuJuan Folana Band, as well as Checkered Past, the Devotion Band and Fellaheen. He also added depth to the band's sound as a backup vocalist. Those nice high harmonies you hear when we play? That's Frank!

Bob Grady/Drums, Vocals - After years of inactivity, Bob returned to performing at the band's "Rising From The Storm" Hurricane Katrina Benefit concert in September 2006. He caught the band's attention with his spirited drumming during "Trouble" and "Viva Las Vegas" while auditioning. Bob has also added great harmonies as well as lead vocals to the band since joining.
